The Minister of Economy, Dr. Muhammad Samer Khalil, has opened the Syrian pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai in October 1^st 2021, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic at the United Arab Emirates, and the Commissioner-General of the pavilion, Dr. Ghassan Abbas, and, the designer and the manager of the pavilion, Eng. Khaled Shamaa in addition to Many other official figures and senior attendees.
